PKR Update - Rebuy Tournament, Second Chances and Lower Deposits

PKR recently made a big update to their software, which included revamping their entire tournament schedule. This paved the way for PKR to add rebuys to many of their guaranteed tournaments, as well as add a new tournament style called second and third chance tournaments. PKR also has lowered their minimum deposit from $25 to $10.

The addition of rebuys to many of PKR’s tournaments will make for larger guaranteed prize pools, as well as second chances for players who happen to be the victim of a bad beat early on in the tournament. Some of PKR’s tournaments will have a set number of rebuys allowed, while others will have unlimited rebuys in a set timeframe. 

PKR has also come out with a completely new tournament style that is original to PKR. The new PKR Double and Triple chance tournaments allow you the option to split your starting stack into 2 or 3 equal size stacks which you can fall back on if you happen to lose your first stack. You have the option to put all of your chips into play after the first hand, or you can keep them off the table in case of emergency.

PKR now allows deposits of as little as $10, which is down from their previous minimum of $25. However, if you make a deposit between $10 and $25 you must pay a $1 processing fee, so it is still best to deposit $25 or more to avoid this fee.
